Who Qualifies for Meals

Those going through post-op surgical rehabilitation, medical treatment such as chemotherapy, or individuals with a mental or physical disability. Anyone involved in the military or after the birth of a new baby.
Getting Started with Services
Contact us at the kitchen to set up an interview, where a volunteer will meet with the recipient and/or family/contact person to set up meals, sign an agreement of terms, explain policies and billing, and answer any questions recipients or others may have.
Meal Delivery Information
Meals are delivered five days each week, except on major holidays and on inclement weather days, for which blizzard packs are offered.
The daily home visits from a Meals on Wheels volunteer feature:
- a nutritious meal and a warm conversation
- a nutritionally sound home cooked dinner; including a meat, starch, vegetable and roll served warm
- a well balanced lunch including a sandwich, fruit, salad, dessert, and milk
- all prepared by volunteers and delivered to your home by friendly volunteers.
Participants pay a low fee for nutritious, home-cooked meals. Our organization receives no government subsidy. The meal recipient, or a designated person, is billed at the end of each month for the meals received during that month.
If you have a relative friend or neighbor you'd like to treat to quality meals during a difficult time, consider one of our gift certificates that can be purchased through email@example.com.
